Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by H_Snyper — 19 May 2017
If you haven't seen Prometheus or the original series you would probably like this film. It's got some top sci fi CGI, aliens, but it's not scary. Overall story telling is terrible. Too much is focused on the Android story line between Walter vs David and the theme of Playing God and creation.
Who cares about the Android. It doesn't really continue off from Prometheus much. Not much about the Engineer homeworld, you barely learn much about elizabeth shaw. More time should have been devoted towards the character development so we learn to like Daniels and care for her cause.
We didn't know who was who'should wife until much later. Crappy ending too. Just a action popcorn flick.
