I liked Prometheus better. Alien and Aliens will never be surpassed but it doesn't mean them can't be equaled. This is not that equal. Sir Ridley tried to shoehorn the Alien into Prometheus rather than let it gradually build into it like he had planned.
Still, it's an entertaining flick with 2 mesmerizing performances by one of the world's greatest, Michael Fassbender. Katherine Waterston gets her Ripley on nicely and Danny McBride is a way better actor than you think.
