Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Marc E — 27 May 2017
Terrible. Every scene is predictable, narrative set up solely to introduce Alien tropes that they feel the audience expects. The characters make such terrible decisions that you wonder how anyone could consider them fit to be on a spaceship much less colonize a new world, unless this is a group of people they'd rather send off to their doom than deal with on their own planet.
Most of the interesting story elements from Prometheus are pretty much swept under the rug to make room for a predictable domino game of the cast being picked off. CG not that great either.
