Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by James H — 18 May 2017

I've seen my last Alien movie. This movie is really, really bad. Ridley Scott must have needed cash to finance Blade Runner or something because it is absolutely stupid. The colonists are basically the dumbest bunch of pioneers and would have never made it to a first interview for the crew.

We are also supposed to believe there are no protocols for going to worlds where unknown pathogens lurk. Finally, all the crew just runs around screaming, shooting stuff, and acting stupid, so you can pretty much see where the movie goes.

I can't understand why this movie received such high ratings. Maybe critics and the audience wanted to help finance Blade Runner, too....
