Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Sg D — 18 May 2017
Honestly, I knew going into "Alien: Covenant" that it would not introduce anything new. So I had been told. That's very true. It's probably my least favorite after "Alien 4." It has a decent blend of action, and tension that is slightly present.
However, they added all that "Prometheus" BS no one liked and more. The ending is really good. The first act is not very entertaining, and many things will make you angry while watching. The second act is stronger than the first, and the third third act kinda falls short, but it still will keep most viewers satisfied, especially the fight with the Xenomorphs.
The acting is quite good, Michael Fassbender did very well and the special effects are really good. All in all, Don't expect anything ground breaking from this mediocre addition in the "Alien" franchise.
