Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Marcus Z — 23 May 2017
A couple of surprisingly nice visual sequences and a compelling score.. The crew is not given a lot to work with here though script wise, and in the classic genre of b movies where the cast make lots of dumb choices its easy to spot who is the smart one and its Fassbender! But for all his beautiful portrayal of suffering, his true nature is given away early on again by the word smith(s).
We (the audience) are smarter than this, please elevate us on the next one when David steers the Covenant towards earth for his revenge.
