Not watching the original Alien film and Prometheus will make this movie an awful blood spilling movie for that person because they won't get it. For us true fans that have seen the previous, it will make tons of sense! We were left wondering with Prometheus intentionally, to allow the master plan of Ridley Scott continue with the follow up Alien Covenant.
