Alien Covenant.

For starters it looks fantastic, but its Ridley Scott, so of fucking course it does. The acting is superb all around. The standouts are Michael Fassbender, who is terrific in his duel roles as Walter and David, and Danny McBride, who I was really worried would be nothing but his usual comedic self (which is great, just not for Alien), actually shows his dramatic chops. The film acts as a worthy sequel to Prometheus (I really liked Prometheus btw) but separates itself enough to please those who wanted a straight up Alien prequel. It gave us the monster movie we wanted without losing the heavier themes of Prometheus. Overall Alien Covenant is the best in the series since Aliens and is well worth your hard earned dollars. Go see it.
