Review of Alien Abduction (2014) by Luciano G — 31 Aug 2014
Alien Abduction was a surprise to me. I wouldn't really watch it if it wasn't for the viewers that says that it's really good. So I give it a shot, and it's a good found footage movie. There was a lot of problems, but there was some effective scares, decent acting, and I wanted to see what's going to happen.
The problems are that it's one of those films that there's a reason they show the beginning like that and it'll come back to it. If it's the middle, It'll be fine, but it's much farther then that, and it felt like I spoiled myself without even knowing it.
The aliens are generic, and the plot is generic too which was very disappointing. But for all the flaws, Alien Abduction is a good horror film that is better than the other found footage films, and in this, there is a reason why it's called "found footage.
