Review of Alien (1979) by Brian H — 02 Jul 2013
In space, no one can hear you scream. Alien, is the first real horror movie that takes place in space and by horror, I mean it. This is one of the few movies that managed to make me scared, and not from jump scares.
It's an unmistakable classic that everyone should see, unless you have a weak heart in which case I would recommend the sequel. The film is about a space crew who are transporting material back to Earth.
Space truckers? On their trip back to Earth, they find a ship requesting help, not English however. They try to rescue it and stuff goes down. I'm sure a lot of people have seen this movie but, in case you haven't I wont spoil anything.
This is an amazing movie that aged well, the Xenomorph manages to not only have one of the coolest alien names ever, but also manages to be one of the scariest.
