Review of Alien (1979) by Ashlynn H — 24 Jun 2015
Alien is one of the most iconic movies in cinema today. The title is simple, and, without seeing the movie, does not provoke much fear. Ridley Scott was brilliant to give the first 45 minutes of the film a quiet and relaxed feel.
It only intensified the terror audiences felt during the remainder of the film. The chestburster scene, in my opinion, is one of the most iconic and horrifying scenes in movie history. I can't give this movie enough praise.
