Review of Alien (1979) by Del H — 03 Aug 2015

I can't believe I held off on seeing this masterpiece for so long. I could go on and on about how terrific this film is: everything from its perfect pacing to its blood pressure rising suspense to its control of multiple genres, and to its plot which keeps you guessing every second of the ride.

I could also do an in-depth analysis about how meaningful this film is: I could talk about its faith in humanity over technology, its skewering of the corporate establishment, and its internal debate on bioethics.

But in the interest of briefness, I will just say that this is an excellent movie and those who haven't seen it need to get on it.
