Review of Alien (1979) by Robbie P — 28 Dec 2015
This is essential to any a sci-fi & or horror film fan. This Ridley Scott classic is a perfect blend of artistic vision provided by H.R. Giger and the bleak lens Ridley Scott would use in future classics (Blade Runner).
The horror element is mainly brought to the screen from tense build ups that never show to much of the alien. The less you see the scary it became which was exactly worked for this film unlike its successors.
I give this film a 10 out of 10.
