Review of Alien (1979) by Aquiles V — 26 Jul 2014
A sci-fi classic that inspired many other movies. Perhaps it´s best quality is that it is really atmospheric. The tension increases slowly as the muisc, the sounds and the images work together perfectly.
The creature is introduced with a good build up and the spaceship setting makes you feel trapped. A simple story in the hands of Ridley Scott ended up being one of the most iconic films to date.
