Review of Alien (1979) by Jacob K — 25 Jan 2015
It's highly debated whether Alien or Aliens is the better movie. Alien is more a horror movie, while Aliens is a horror action movie. Both are some of my favourite movies of all time, but if asked which one is my favourite, I would respond with Alien.
What makes for effective horror is subtlety, which Alien has in abundance. A timeless classic.
