Review of Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) by Sylvia F — 28 May 2016

After reading critics' reviews, I was prepared for an underwhelming movie. However, I found it visually spectacular and the storyline was compelling enough to keep me interested. The characters were quirky and engaging -even Cohen, who usually irritates the heck out of me. I'm promising myself to hold off on the reviews until AFTER I watch the movie.

Unfortunately it looks like the reviews and salacious headlines about Depp will kill the movie's chances of finding an audience. Perhaps it will gain the respect it deserves when enough time has passed for the social media machine to move on to its next target.
