Review of Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) by Carol T — 06 Jun 2016
I can't understand why the critics are so negative with their review of this film. I liked it despite its abundant use of visual imagery. The story was about time, about how important family is, and loosely based on the original.
I don't think we were looking for the old, original story since this is a Tom Burtonesque type of movie. Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp were their usual unique selves. I enjoyed this film and its message.
Don't waste time, and love your family since it's the only one you've got!
