SPOILERS - It's not that it's a boring film, but in the end it feels like you've wasted your time watching it. Alice's life since the last movie is interesting but you are too quickly thrust into an odd conflict between herself, her mother, and her former employer's son (who is also someone who at some point was turned down when he proposed to Alice) and before you can figure out the relationship between them Alice takes off to Wonderland.

The time Alice is in Wonderland is somewhat non-eventful as it seems everyone just sits around. On the positive, the visual effects were wonderful and learning the back-stories was great, but yet you don't find out if certain "curses" are lifted (i.

E., is it always 1 minute to tea time for the cursed?). Now if you weren't already wishy-washy on what you thought about the film, throw in that the entire quarrel between the red and white queens is easily forgotten with an apology.

It's that simple? WHAT??? Yeah, as it turns out, the "good queen" is a liar. Her lie set in motion events leading to the red queen's head swelling like a balloon and her going nuts and killing everyone.

Add to that the distractingly constant hand movements by the white queen and you'll be cheering that the red queen "win". But a quick apology ends everything... It's not terrible, but you'll wonder if you spent your time wisely or not.
