Alice was a very much a mixed bag. I loved Alice in Wonderland so was very excited about it's sequel. First off, Sasha Baron Cohen was excellent as the personification of Time. Great character, not the antagonist the early previews made him out to seem.
Less positive was the background story of the Red & White Queens. The original Alice gave hints of a much darker origin of the Red Queen. It seems the new director wanted a more comic back story with a family reconciliation at the end.
Miss Crispin Glover ' s Knave of Hearts but his ending is shown. Great special effects. But except for Alice and The Hatter all the other great Underhand characters do very little,sadly. Still, I enjoyed Alice Through the Looking Glass and can't wait to buy the Blu Ray edition ( Hopefully with lots of extras & cut scenes.
