Review of Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) by Jason G — 12 Jan 2017
As with its predecessor Alice 2 is ridiculously over the top even for a fantasy . But unlike the previous films meandering plot with no direction and had to end in a war that had no place in the Alice universe, Alice 2 has an actual plot and wastes no time racing through time itself to entertain us.
Brilliant performances by Depp and Sasha Baron Cohen not to mention Alice herself and the last seconds of the film touched by the late great Alan Rickman will melt your heart. There is a great point about learning from the past and keeping a an optimistic heart for the future being made here.
