Review of Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) by Skeptic303 — 25 Sep 2016
Alice Though the Looking Glass is a needlessly complicated title to a needlessly produced sequel that must be declared needless viewing. It isn't very funny at all (granted, it wasn't made to be funny) and it is one of the worst efforts from Disney.
Whether you are looking at the characters and their conflicts, story, plot, or whatever, this movie fails. In a nuclear bomb to the original Alice in Wonderland, it portrays Alice as a villain, willing to steal from others rather than ask in order to do something. People punish or scold others for stupid reasons or for the sake of a plotline.
It is also worth noting that the movie never elaborates on the so-called looking glass. Might it refer to the ocean of time the movie spends time with. Because my advice for the makers of this movie is to refer to the "looking glass" on the internet in order to figure out why this movie wasn't appreciated. The whole movie serves a series of events and bland elements and nothing else.
