Review of Alice in Wonderland (2010) by Alberto G — 20 Jul 2014
I do take my time to watch a Tim Burton movie. First, because he has a strange, dark, vision about mostly everything. Second, because I know Johnny Depp will be his weird self.
After accepting both this premises, I decided to give Alice in Wonderland a try. The visuals and music were striking as usual. The plot was interesting and had a good flow.
The thing is, it felt kinda tame for what I come to expect from Burton. It felt like a family oriented affair. Perhaps it was "too Disney" for my taste.
