Nice visuals, and that would be about it. Mia's performance is terrible in this movie, and bears no resemblance to the character Alice in the original books. The lines generally seem forced and unnaturally normal in this supposedly crazy "Underland" (seriously, why?).
The original story (which I am a big fan of), is being forced into a hollywood pot, and seasoned with a bit of unintelligent humor and pseudo-philosophical quotes to make it edible for an uncaring crowd.
However most of us do care, and so I must say that this movie is a huge mess, and completely undeserving of the title "Alice in Wonderland".
