Just like everything, Tim Burton's experience teaming up with Disney has its ups and its downs: for every Nightmare Before Christmas, there's always an Alice in Wonderland waiting up ahead.
...Just watch the one from 1951. It's just as much eye-candy, has a much more likeable lead, and doesn't sacrifice its heart for the one thing no Alice remake should ever have: too much sense.
