ALICE IN BLUNDERLAND! Plot holes! Bland poor CGI for a movie with $150-$200 million. Tim Burton was lazy with this one as far as I'm concerned and not to mention unnecessary.

Plot:Nineteen-year-old Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror.

Review: .Why did this movie do so well in the box office? I'll tell you why..because Tim Burton was involved not because it's a good movie.

All the lead supporting characters are about as interesting as glue.

This world of such unique and dreary looks has been done a thousand times, it was great 10 years ago...

Alices character is cliché a ..Mia Wasikowska performance was about as stale as Kristen Stewarts performance in Twilight, no emotion what so ever. As the story progresses Alice is just completely unflappable in her new found situations as she enters Wonderland and it turns out this movie isn't a retelling of the classic story at all. its a sequel! What made you think you were getting a true Alice In Wonderland movie? The title? That's foolish.

One scene I have to get off my chest. Alice learns that Wonderland used to be a peaceful place watched over by the White Queen until the Red Queen comes and ruins everything. You"ll get a little flash back to see all this go down of course.. why this entire scene alone ruins the entire movie is because we just established when Alice first appears in Wonderland is they had a PROPHECY THAT SAID THAT THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! Why were they partying instead of preparing for what they should have known would come?! Did they over look that little detail where the world would go to shit? You'd think they would highlight that shit.

This film is just aweful, how can a movie based on a pointless book become even more pointless by trying to give it a point. You can make it dark you can make it intense but unless you have a coherent story and characters that have a little bit more charm than paint drying on a wall. Sometimes the movie captures the craziness from the book but it misses the spirit and the mystery and even the wonder that the book gave us.
