Review of Alice in Wonderland (1951) by Georgieboy M — 18 May 2011
The original version of the film and the only one you need bother with. Yes you could say its just Alice meeting one crazy thing after the next but the beauty is in the animation and strong characters on show.
From the Chesire cat to Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the smoking Caterpillar to the Mad Hatter it's full of some iconic scenes. You've no doubt seen this at some point during your childhood but it still holds up later on in life, if for different, more nostalgical reasons.
