Review of Alice in the Cities (1974) by Faidra P — 30 Apr 2008
Wenders has a sharp eye for telling cinema, and this film is a road trip of uncommonalities. The uncertainty of where its headed is a big draw as are the subtle messages floating at or below the surface.
Sometimes it seemingly drifts without direction, but it's still an intriguing find.
