Review of Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974) by Darryl J — 08 Nov 2007
Ellen Burstyn's performance in this movie is incredible. This whole movie radiates with the type of dialogue that is real and not just to push the story forward. I love all the mother and son scenes.
(The water fight is awesome) The directing is also great throughout the movie. The opening scene is pretty amazing as well. Harvey Keitel has a small but unforgettable role. And Jodie Foster as a young tomboy is insanely convincing.
I thought "she" was a "he" for the longest time....
