Review of Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974) by Chris S — 08 Sep 2008
If Martin Scorsese was trying to prove that he could direct female leads too by directing this film, he didn't prove anything at all. He'll always be better at those usual films of his. The child here is so annoying, and I can't stand him at all.
No wonder, Alice's boyfriend starts getting mad at the boy for being such a stubborn one. And the film doesn't really have a sense of direction, and the script is awful. I also couldn't really care for any of the characters.
