A must see for any film lover! Especially those who love Scorsese! This is one of his "quiet" films (ya know, the ones with no gangsters). Ellen Burstyn gives a master class in acting as Alice.
She won a well deserved Best Actress Oscar for it. This was also the film that inspired the hit TV series "Mel's Diner".
