I think for the group of people it was targeting (Negroes), it was a success on all accounts. Honestly I'm just not a huge fan of either Will Smith or Muhammad Ali, so off the bat I'm not its audience.

I could enjoy the style of Michael Mann but that's about it. I really don't understand the praise behind Will Smith in this, he's done way better stuff i.e. Fresh Prince. For Ali and Smith purest I'm sure it was a thrill ride.
