Review of Ali (2001) by M S — 30 May 2010
Where was this film going? Why is Malcom X featured so prominantly in the film? Seriously. This is a film that could have been much shorter. Poor storyboard. Come on. Focus on what made Ali the larger than life hero that he is. Standing up against the Vietnam War when he did was incredibly brave. He lost so much with his protest.
Or focus on tearing down the myth. Focus on his infidelities.
Whatever.
There's a story to be told, but this movie meanders too much.
