Jude Law plays Alfie, a Brit womanizer who takes the job of a chauffeur in New York City. Alfie flirts his way in and out of women's lives, uses them as toys and seducing them without the word of commitment. He manages to be obnoxious yet endearing at the same time. His life isn't as perfect as it looks and he doesn't have all the answers, but he seems to be growing up as he learns some tough lessons. He pays for his mistakes as he goes through a life changing experience and became a better, if single, man in the end. For the single women this gives you an insight on how men at the top of the physical perfection chain think. Girls, think twice before forcing your guys to watch it. The support cast of Susan Sarandon, Marisa Tomei, Sienna Miller, Jane Krakowski, Omar Epps & Nia Long do a good job also.

All in all, I found Alfie to be a breath of fresh air, and a good balance of light-hearted fun and more serious, thought-provoking issues not to be taken lightly.
