Review of Alfie (2004) by Amanda W — 13 Apr 2008
I seldom find a film downright boring, but I have to admit that this tried my patience a bit, as did Jude Law once again. Totally unconvincing and ANNOYING. Parts of the film have resonance however, and Susan Sarandon is very impressive, but there is little humour or resolvement in this sadly disjointed remake.
