Review of Alfie (1966) by Mark O — 21 Nov 2007
Jude Law bravely takes on the lead role immortalised by Michael Caine in the original, and does a good job, giving Alfie a certain charm that is hard to resist. There is also good support from Susan Sarandon and Nia Long as two of his conquests.
Not the classic that the original film is but still entertaining.
