I didn't see the original version of this movie but I really like this one. It's not typical romance/comedy movie.
I'm agree that at first you don't really get the movie (maybe also for continuos alfie monologues with audience), but you have to keep watching it and then it touches you in a deep way.Great performance by Jude Law. his acting was funny but also very touching. The end is not completely clear...the movie let open many ways of interpretation.
