Not as good as the original but not as bad as I thought it would be. I thought they over-explained things in this film, where the original didn't assume you were an idiot and let you figure it out.
I liked the first half hour of this one a lot because it was an excellent script that was just more modernized. I thought the second half hour was took a major turn in the script for the worse. Luckily, it fixed the mess it was writing itself into, but still didn't execute as well as the original.
Not a bad film, but definitely not the superior of the two. I also expected this film to be a lot worse because of it's bad ratings from others, so I may have been more generous with that in mind.
