Review of Alexander the Great (1956) by Matthew C — 17 Feb 2011
A traditional old school epic. Burton is great and the movie is evenly split between his rise and fall. It was as much about his father as it was about him. Slow but still enjoyable for those who can watch the wide scale battles and the intense drama that the greeks bring.
It's old fashioned and a less than solid but still cool.
