It's not entirely this terrible, horrible, no good, very bad adaptation, but the concept of extending this bad luck drama to the family and not Alexander, pretty much misses the mark of the spirit of the original content it derived off of.
Honestly, this movie seems directly on par with frozen, processed chicken nuggets as far as I'm concerned.
