Review of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014) by James W — 09 Nov 2014
Alexander is funny and charming but suffers due to the trailer showing way too much. Everything that is funny in the movie was pretty much shown in the trailers. Spoiler Warning: And the ending being too conveniently happy and rushed doesn't help. At 1 hr and 20 minutes the film could have used another 10 minutes.
What happened with the baby having permanent marker all over his face ? And I also didn't believe the turn out of the Jennifer Garner situation with her children's book in the end. Still, the film is likeable enough to recommend due the cast being pretty good and making a believable family.
