Review of Alexander (2004) by Xelloss N — 05 Apr 2009

I have mixed feeling toward this movie, like with all historical movies I feel it was inaccurate and unrealistic. I feel some characters weren't well exploited as they could. I don't know if I would have chosen Collin Farrell for this character, but he did manage to show a more human and vulnerable new side of a very famous almost mythical figure. Also I loved how his relationship with Hephaistion was portrait, very sweet...

I almost didn't recognized Val Kilmer, but I think he held his character pretty well, as Angelina Jolie did as well...
