Review of Alexander (2004) by Ryan B — 06 Apr 2009

There are worse movies out there. This was probably slammed a little too hard by the critics, but it was too long and drawn out to even care about the main characters. It would've been better without Farrell - he's just a big doucher.

Rosario and Angelina make the movie worth a watch for a couple scenes. The rest of it...well, not so much. If you've seen Braveheart or Gladiator or Troy or any other period piece like this, you would've recognized the fight sequences.

The only problem with the fight scenes, you have to wait through 45 minutes of mindless dialouge and character development to get it.
