Review of Alexander (2004) by Tylor A — 07 Feb 2012
Poor effort. Where did this film go? Not that it was anywhere to start with, but as far as historic war epics go, Alexander just seemed to roam around. The settings and scenes were good, as were the actors, but it was just boring and uneventful.
No suspense, mystery nothing. Maybe Oliver Stone tried to hard to make it match the true story, but what ever he did, it didn't work. C'mon Oliver what were you thinking? I forgave you with Natural Born Killers, but this? Please don't fall into the Kevin Costner relam of directors, especially with all the greats you've had in the past.
The pressures on for the next one.
