Absurd nonsense. How can you possibly make a film about Alexander The Great and make it boring? Mis-cast, ridiculously drawn-out, embarassingly bad dialogue and performances... A lot of money was spent on this, there IS talent here, but none of it works.
Even the sight of Alexander on horseback taking on an elephant looks ridiculous instead of impressive and awe-inspiring. Garbled accents and an oirish Alex just created a greater divide between the audience and the film.
Its just so hard to take this film seriously.
