I've been reading James Patterson's novels with hero Alex Cross for years and always felt Morgan Freeman, while an excellent actor, was just too old to play this character. I welcome the refreshing and talented actor Tyler Perry in the part.
I am eager to see this movie; it promises to be a good one!
