Review of Alex Cross (2012) by Charles K. B — 16 Apr 2013
Being a fan of James Patterson's novels about "Alex Cross," I had decided to give the movie a chance even if the lead is the horrendous Tyler Perry. With that being said, the movie has some pretty horrible acting, mainly by Perry, with the exception of Matthew Fox turning in a psycho performance as the serial killer Perry is after.
The action is blah, the storyline is boring, especially for what Patterson puts out in his novels, they could've done a hell of a lot better with this film. There isn't much to say here, I'd stay away from it, Tyler Perry needs to retire, or go back to his "Presents" movies, which I think are equally horrible.
2/5 JD.
