Review of Alex Cross (2012) by Dustin H — 21 May 2013
As an enthusiastic fan of Patterson's Cross novels... and Freeman's portrayal of him in the previous two films... I can say that I'm not much into Perry's dry, flat portrayal. The film that surrounds him does, however, become increasingly watchable as it carries on.
'Alex Cross', unfortunately, starts at a snails pace, relying heavily on Perry's acting ability... which doesn't bode well. But once the action, chases and explosions, take reign... it grows some legs, allowing for a moderately fun ride.
