Once a fan gets past the absence of curious absence of Alex's best friend and professional cohort, Sampson, this movie is not bad. Tyler Perry does a decent job as Alex Cross, but Mr. Fox's turn as villain was superbly ominous! The dialogue for Cicely Tyson's role as Nana Mama was poorly written and I hope, if the studios decide to take another stab at more Alex Cross movies, Nana's character is better developed as the wise matriarch she really is in the stories.
I'm not a Ed Burns fan, but I liked him in this film. The movie is worth seeing.
