If you are a fan of the books, pass on this movie.
Matthew Fox is an excellent evil villain.
I couldn't get past all the poor casting and writing for these characters. Alex's best friend is supposed to be "Man Mountain" a huge black man not "Tommy Kane". and Nana Mama is his Grandmother, not mother, not to mention Alex's wife is dead before any of the books begin.
