I love the plot of the movie but I honestly do believe they could've gotten a better lead than Perry. He's more for comedy and family drama than thriller, which would've been complimented by Morgan Freeman.
They made the *Cross* character too young in this version, which was highly unrealistic compared to the prior *Cross*-type movies in the past.
